Our Boring Abilities
CNC Vertical Boring
- The boring tool moves along the Z-axis (vertical) to bore into the workpiece from above. The table can rotate around the X-axis.
- The spindle is vertical, and the workpiece is mounted horizontally on a rotating table.
- Best suited for larger, heavier workpieces that are difficult to move or rotate.
CNC Horizontal Boring
- The boring tool moves along the X, Y, and Z-axes to bore horizontally into the workpiece. The spindle is horizontal.
- The workpiece is mounted horizontally, the boring tool moves along the horizontal axis.
- Ideal for deep boring operations on elongated components like axles and crankshafts.
Our Boring Tools
Single-Point Boring Bar
A tool with a single cutting edge used for precision boring. It removes material from the inside of a hole to achieve accurate diameters, often used for finishing operations.
Double-Point Boring Bar
This tool has two cutting points, providing more balanced cutting forces and improved stability during the boring process. It is often used for larger or more demanding holes.
Fixed Boring Head
A rigid tool used in CNC boring operations where the diameter of the hole is consistent. It provides stability and is suited for high-precision boring with consistent hole diameters.
Adjustable Boring Head
A versatile tool with a head that can be adjusted to different diameters, offering flexibility for varying bore sizes. It’s ideal for boring tasks that require precise hole diameter control.
